Formulator Hub
Terms and Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

This document sets out the terms on which Formulator Hub Ltd provides online courses, digital products, AI tools, and related educational services through formulatorhub.com, any third-party platform we use to deliver our services, our apps, and any other online point of access we operate.

Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy.

Formulator Hub Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13121553. Our registered address is 2 Frederick Street, Kings Cross, London, WC1X 1ND. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Formulator Hub Ltd trading as Formulator Hub. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website, buying a product, or enrolling in a course.

If you buy a Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool from us, create an account, or use our website, you agree to these Terms.

Definitions

1.1 “Confidential Information” means any confidential or proprietary information created, owned, or used by us, however recorded, including course materials, methods, specifications, know-how, trade secrets, commercial information, and Intellectual Property Rights, where the information is clearly confidential by its nature or is identified as confidential.

1.2 “Courses” means the online education services delivered by us, including any course materials supplied with them.

1.3 “Course Materials”, “Downloads”, “Lessons”, “Modules”, and “Courseware” mean the written, visual, audio, or recorded materials we provide to support a Course.

1.4 “Digital Products” means downloadable products sold through our website or sales pages, including ebooks, pocket books, workbooks, guides, templates, checklists, and other digital files delivered electronically after purchase.

1.5 “AI Tools” means any AI-powered assistant, Custom GPT, chatbot, automation, or similar tool provided by us, whether accessed by link, through a hosted interface, through a third-party platform, or by any other digital means.

1.6 “Enrol”, “Enrolment”, and “Enrolling” mean enrolment on one of our Courses, whether by payment or by access granted by us at our discretion.

1.7 “Intellectual Property Rights” means copyright, trademarks, database rights, design rights, patents, rights in software, rights in confidential information and know-how, and all similar rights anywhere in the world, whether registered or unregistered.

General

2.1 By using our website, creating an account, enrolling on a Course, or purchasing a Digital Product or AI Tool, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

2.2 Additional terms may apply to specific Courses, Digital Products, AI Tools, promotions, payment options, or community spaces. Where they apply, we will make them available before purchase or enrolment.

2.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a change that materially affects your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to bring that change to your attention before it takes effect. The latest version will always be available on our website.

Enrolment, payments, cancellation and refunds

3.1 To access a Course, AI Tool, or certain Digital Products, you may need to create an account and pay the applicable fee. We may refuse or cancel an enrolment or purchase where reasonably necessary, including where payment is not received, where there is suspected misuse of the service, or where we need to comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

3.2 Enrolment or purchase is complete only when payment has been successfully processed, or where we confirm in writing that access has been granted by us.

3.3 Payment plans are not currently available unless we expressly offer one for a specific Course, AI Tool, or other product.

3.4 For some Courses, we may offer a payment per module option. Where we do, one payment gives access to one module in the sequence set by us. Payment per module is offered at our discretion and may be withdrawn or changed at any time before purchase.

3.5 If a payment per module option includes an additional charge, that charge will be shown to you before purchase.

3.6 Payments are accepted by the payment methods shown at checkout.

3.7 We operate from the UK, and prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise. Your bank, card provider, payment provider, or local tax rules may apply additional charges, and these are your responsibility.

3.8 If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. However, if a Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool is digital content made available immediately after purchase, you will lose that right only where, before access is provided, you expressly request immediate supply and acknowledge that you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once supply begins. If you have not given that consent and acknowledgement, and supply has not started, you may cancel within the applicable statutory period by emailing hello@formulatorhub.com.

3.9 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. If the digital content we supply does not match its description, is not of satisfactory quality, or is not fit for purpose where required by law, you may have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3.10 After the end of any applicable statutory cancellation period, we are not obliged to provide a refund simply because you have chosen not to access, start, complete, continue with, or use a Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool. This does not affect any rights you may have where the Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool is faulty, misdescribed, or not supplied in accordance with your statutory rights.

3.11 Where a Course includes any live teaching, marking, feedback, mentoring, support, or other service element, that part of the Course is provided as a service and nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights in relation to that service.

Our services

4.1 We will provide our Courses, Digital Products, and AI Tools with reasonable care and skill.

4.2 We will supply the Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool in line with its description at the time of purchase, subject to any minor updates or changes permitted under these Terms.

4.3 Any dates or schedules we give are estimates unless we clearly state otherwise.

4.4 We may make reasonable changes to a Course, Digital Product, AI Tool, website feature, or description where needed for legal, technical, regulatory, security, or operational reasons, provided those changes do not materially reduce the core content, functionality, or value of what you purchased as described at the time of purchase. If a material change is required, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected customers and act in accordance with their statutory rights.

4.5 We do not guarantee any particular commercial, educational, financial, or personal result from using our Courses, Digital Products, or AI Tools. Results depend on individual effort, experience, implementation, testing, and other factors outside our control.

4.6 We aim to keep our content accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that all content will always be complete, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. You should use your own judgement and, where appropriate, obtain independent professional advice.

4.7 Some Courses are provided for a stated access period only. Where applicable, the relevant sales page or course description will clearly explain the access period before purchase. Unless we expressly state otherwise, Course access is not lifetime access and may end at the end of the stated access period.

4.8 Some Courses may include deadlines for coursework, assignments, tests, or quizzes. Where this applies, it is your responsibility to meet those deadlines. We may refuse late submissions. If we choose to accept a late submission, we may charge an administration fee only if we have notified you of it in advance.

4.9 We aim to provide uninterrupted access to our website, Courses, and AI Tools, but availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, technical issues, third-party platform changes, or events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to restore access as soon as practicable where this is within our control.

4.10 If we cancel a Course, withdraw it before it is supplied, or are unable to provide a material part of it for reasons not caused by you, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include delayed access, transfer to a comparable Course, comparable product or service, or a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights.

Your obligations

5.1 You confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

5.2 You agree to keep our Confidential Information confidential and not disclose it except where disclosure is required by law.

5.3 You must use our website, Courses, Digital Products, and AI Tools lawfully and in a way that does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5.4 Any content, materials, comments, or work you upload or submit must be your own or used with permission, and must not infringe any third-party Intellectual Property Rights or other rights.

5.5 You must not access or attempt to access another user’s account, impersonate another person, or provide false or misleading identity information. You must keep your login details secure and confidential and must not share them with anyone else. You are responsible for activity on your account unless the issue was caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

5.6 If you post in a forum, comments area, community space, group discussion, or similar interactive feature we provide, you understand that your content may be visible to other users in that space. Private account information, support queries, and payment information are not treated as public merely because they are sent through our systems.

5.7 You must not knowingly introduce malware, harmful code, or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

5.8 You are responsible for your own breach of these Terms and for any reasonably foreseeable consequences of that breach.

5A. Digital products

5A.1 Digital Products are usually delivered electronically immediately after purchase, for example, through a download link on the confirmation page or by email. You are responsible for downloading and saving the files once supplied.

5A.2 Digital Products are sold for your personal use only unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. You must not resell, redistribute, share, upload, sublicense, or make them available to any third party without our prior written permission.

5A.3 All Intellectual Property Rights in Digital Products remain with Formulator Hub Ltd. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Digital Product for your own private study or internal professional reference only.

5A.4 You may print a Digital Product for your own personal use. You must not reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, or create derivative works from it except where permitted by law or with our written permission.

5A.5 Because Digital Products are supplied as digital content, the statutory right to cancel is lost once supply begins, where you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that you lose that right. If you have a technical issue, such as a corrupted file or broken link, please contact us at hello@formulatorhub.com, and we will take reasonable steps to fix the issue or resupply the file.

5A.6 Digital Products are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not legal, medical, regulatory, financial, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your own decisions, testing, compliance, labelling, claims, manufacturing, and product safety, including where you use what you learn for a business, client work, or products intended for sale.

5A.7 We may update, replace, or discontinue a Digital Product at any time. Unless we state otherwise, your purchase entitles you to the version available at the time of purchase.

5B. AI Tools and Custom GPT access

5B.1 Some products or services provided by us may include access to AI Tools, which may be delivered through third-party platforms or hosted interfaces.

5B.2 Access to AI Tools may be provided by a private link, a hosted interface, an embedded tool, a third-party platform, or another digital access method chosen by us.

5B.3 AI Tools are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, medical, regulatory, financial, or other professional advice, and they are not tailored advice for your individual circumstances unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

5B.4 You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your specific purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, checking, testing, and validating any output before relying on it or using it in practice.

5B.5 You remain fully responsible for any decisions, actions, formulations, products, business use, compliance steps, labelling, claims, manufacturing, testing, or other outcomes based on or influenced by AI-generated outputs.

5B.6 AI Tools may depend on third-party platforms, software, hosting, or models. We are not responsible for outages, delays, interruptions, suspensions, restrictions, changes in third-party functionality, model behaviour, pricing, or policies that are outside our reasonable control.

5B.7 We may update, modify, replace, restrict, suspend, or withdraw access to an AI Tool where reasonably necessary for technical, legal, operational, security, or commercial reasons. Where such a change materially affects a paid purchase, we will act reasonably and in accordance with your statutory rights.

5B.8 AI Tools are provided as digital content with immediate access. Where you have expressly requested immediate access and acknowledged that you lose your 14-day right to cancel, no refund will be provided for change of mind after access has been granted. This does not affect any statutory rights where the AI Tool is faulty, misdescribed, or not supplied as agreed.

5B.9 Access to AI Tools is personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and must not be shared, resold, sublicensed, or made available to any third party without our prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

6.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

6.2 Our Courses, Course Materials, website content, formulas, Digital Products, and AI Tools are educational resources. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they are not tailored advice for your individual circumstances.

6.3 Where we provide sample formulas, examples, methods, prompts, workflows, or AI-generated outputs, they are intended for education and demonstration. Outcomes may differ depending on ingredients, processes, equipment, hygiene, storage conditions, environmental conditions, testing, any changes you make, and any limitations of AI systems or third-party platforms.

6.4 You are responsible for carrying out appropriate testing, including stability, compatibility, safety, and patch testing where relevant. We are not responsible for losses that arise because you use a formula, method, ingredient, prompt, or AI-generated output without appropriate testing or outside the context in which it was provided.

6.5 We do not guarantee that our website, Courses, or AI Tools will always be secure, uninterrupted, error-free, or available in any particular format, although we take reasonable steps to maintain them.

6.6 We are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

6.7 If we are liable to you for any loss arising out of or in connection with a paid Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool, except where a greater remedy is required by law.

6.8 We are not liable for allergic reactions, product failures, regulatory issues, inaccurate or unsuitable AI outputs, or other losses caused by your ingredients, substitutions, manufacturing process, storage conditions, labelling, legal compliance, reliance on AI-generated content, or failure to follow appropriate testing and safety procedures. This does not affect any liability we cannot lawfully exclude.

Intellectual property and user content

7.1 We own or license all Intellectual Property Rights in our website, branding, Courses, Course Materials, Digital Products, AI Tools, and related content.

7.2 Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our website and the Course, Digital Product, or AI Tool you have purchased for your own personal use.

7.3 You must not copy, share, sell, upload, republish, distribute, reverse engineer, extract prompts from, recreate, or otherwise make our Course Materials, Digital Products, or AI Tools available to third parties, except where we have given written permission or where use is permitted by law.

7.4 You retain ownership of content you upload or submit to us. However, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, copy, display, and process that content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate the website, deliver the Course, provide support, moderate communities, investigate complaints, and improve our services. We will not publish your work or use it in marketing without your permission, except that we may use positive feedback or testimonials you give us where you have agreed that we may do so.

7.5 If you breach this section, we may suspend or terminate your access and may take further action where appropriate.

Code of conduct

8.1 You must behave respectfully and professionally when using our forums, comment areas, groups, social spaces, AI Tools, or any other community or interactive feature connected with our business.

8.2 We may, acting reasonably and proportionately, suspend or remove your access without refund if you seriously or repeatedly breach this code of conduct or behave in a way that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, or seriously disruptive to other users or us.

Website and service changes

9.1 We may update, change, suspend, or remove parts of our website, Courses, Digital Products, AI Tools, or services from time to time. Where a change materially affects a paid purchase, we will act reasonably and in accordance with your statutory rights.

Complaints and dispute resolution

10.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@formulatorhub.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.

10.2 We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days and to provide a substantive response within 14 working days, although more complex matters may take longer.

10.3 We are not obliged to use an alternative dispute resolution provider unless the law requires otherwise. If we cannot resolve a complaint internally, we will provide any information about alternative dispute resolution that we are required to provide under applicable law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

11.1 These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

11.2 If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. If we need to bring proceedings against you as a consumer, we will do so only in the courts of the part of the UK where you live unless the law allows otherwise.

Privacy and cookies

12.1 Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies. Both documents form part of the information we provide about how we run our website and services, and the latest versions will be available on our website.

12.2 If there is any conflict between these Terms and our Privacy Notice in relation to personal data, the Privacy Notice will apply to the extent of that conflict.
